Holistic Living

The paradox of health is that while we are living longer, we are not living in a manner consistent with the highest possible quality of life.

There are certain non-negotiable elements of life, such as: sleep, diet, correct breathing and exercise. In order to do our work well, we need adequate sleep, nutritious food, spells of solitude and some recreation and social life. Make sure you get plenty of exercise and sleep each day; don’t assume you’ll make up for it later. If possible, take frequent breaks through your day. You might feel like you can’t spare the time, but if you are refreshed, you’ll be more efficient.

After all the impact of mind–body–soul connection on the person’s wellbeing has an impact on the society at large too.

The ability to relax and to sleep well is fundamental to our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Yet we don’t make enough time and energy in our day to care for ourselves. With consistent daily use of wellness activities like yoga and meditation, I feel calmer, sleep better and experience positive benefits in my daily life.

Like your blog and website. Keep up. Danke schon

I fully agree with you on the concept of holistic living. Or else why do people who are particular about exercise and food suffer from heart problems or other ailments?

Good health is based on 3 factors- correct diet, exercise and emotional wellbeing. When even one element is missing, good health will elude us.
